Job Description

Raytheon Missile Systems has an exciting and challenging Co Op opportunity during the Summer of 2018 at their Large Scale Integration Center (LSIC) located in Louisville, KY.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be assigned work instruction and process improvement for the Final Assembly Integrated Product Team (IPT). Will work with variance and engineering change requests for assemblies within the Final Assembly IPT. Will assist with manufacturing process validation to technical data package for assemblies within the Final Assembly IPT. Will perform failure diagnosis and trend analysis for assemblies within the Final Assembly IPT.

The ideal candidate will be available to work on a Part Time basis during the school semester after the summer rotation.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Basic understanding of Engineering concepts
  • Ability to work independently and within a team structure
  • Is self driven and engaged in a teaming environment
Desired Skills:
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

Required Education (including Major):

Active full time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field from an ABET accredited institution.

This position can be a Salary Grade ST03 or ST04 based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
  • ST03 (Tech Student - Junior) - Must have completed 60 hours of college
  • ST04 (Tech Student - Senior) - Must have completed 90 hours of college
