Job Description

This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons

Raytheon is seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern. This individual will support production and manufacturing processes in a team-based environment. Perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. Interacts with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.

For Multi-Level Intern Requisitions:
This position can be a Salary Grade of G02 or G03 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

  • G02 (College Freshman by Fall 2018) - 0 hours of college
  • G03 (College Sophomore by Fall 2018) - must have completed 30 hours of college

Required Skills:

  • Must have prior work experience (related or unrelated)
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must be a college Freshman or Sophomore level by Fall 2018
  • Ability to access to US only data systems
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of and desire to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of analytics, modeling, human factors, factory design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in MS Project
  • Lean Six Sigma
  • Simulation modeling
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

Required Education (including major):

  • Currently pursuing a BS / BA degree from an accredited four-year university and entering as a college freshman or sophomore by Fall 2018. Must be working towards a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent technical discipline. Must be appropriate grade level listed above.
