Job Description

Job Title: Executive Support Technician

Job Description:
The position provides comprehensive technical support and training for PC hardware and software, smartphones, tablets, print, and other devices used by Raytheon’s executives and their administrative staff. This position also provides meeting and event support for internal and external executives; these meetings and events include using advanced audio visual capabilities

The executive support technician delivers the highest level of service, providing immediate responsiveness to requests and incidents.

Key responsibilities for the qualified candidate include:
  • Provide all computer desktop/laptop support to designated executives to include:
    • Configuration of all executive & administration assistance computer systems
    • Configuration and setup of printers/faxes/mobile devices (iOS)
    • Configuration, setup, and maintenance of all software and hardware systems
  • Provide and coordinate remote event support as required by the executive(s) or Executive Support Manager. Some travel may be required.
  • Provide software upgrades/updates as appropriate on all computer systems.
  • Stay abreast of new and emerging technologies to improve executive productivity by testing, evaluating, and recommending new products to enhance productivity and efficiency of the executive computing environment.

  • Presence to interact with Raytheon IIS’s leadership team
  • Ability to interface with people at all levels of the company
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal/diplomatic skills
  • Strong customer service competencies and ability to convey & maintain a positive attitude even under high stress situations
  • Ability to perform in high pressure situations.
  • PC technical support, Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, iOS operating systems, personal productivity software expertise to enable installation, configuration and troubleshooting skills and expertise
  • Audio Visual expertise including operating and support of video conference capabilities
  • Basis networking “know how” including remote communications, local area, and wireless networking
  • Strong technology troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues
  • Ability to continuously work in and learn in a team environment

  • Task automation through scripts
Required Education
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a technical degree in the area of Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering. A GPA of 3.0+ in a 4.0 grade scale is desired. Please include your transcript with your resume. You must have obtained sophomore, junior, or senior status as of summer 2018.

This position can be for a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior Internship based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

·Sophomore status – must have completed 30 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Sophomore status as of Summer 2018.

·Junior status – must have completed 60 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Junior status as of Summer 2018.

·Senior status – must have completed 90 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Senior status as of Summer 2018.
