Job Description

Raytheon is seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern. This individual supports production and manufacturing processes in a team-based environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. Interacts with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.

This position can be a Salary Grade of G03, G04 Based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
  • G03 (College Sophomore by Fall 2018) must have completed 30 hours of college
  • G04 (College Junior by Fall 2018) - must have completed 60 hours of college

Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of analytics, modeling, human factors, factory design
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
  • Must be a college Sophomore or Junior standing beginning of Fall 2018

Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of and desire to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in MS Project
  • Lean Six Sigma
  • Simulation modeling
  • Prior relevant internship experience
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

Currently pursuing a BS / BA degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent technical discipline from an accredited four-year university and with a Sophomore or Junior standing beginning of Fall 2018

This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.
