Job Description

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Raytheon BBN Technologies (BBN) has been at the forefront of technological innovation for over 60 years and is behind many revolutionary advances that we take for granted like the Internet, email, and routers. We develop technologies and solutions that protect our soldiers and help the US maintain its technological edge. BBN is seeking creative, passionate engineers who enjoy solving challenging problems with national level impact for our Cyber Security Business Unit based in Cambridge, MA.

As part of the Cyber Security team, you might disassemble and analyze a complex embedded system, develop new privacy-enhancing technologies, create tools for malware analysis and detection, implement unique mission applications for software-defined radios, or reverse engineer integrated circuits from their x-rayed images to find vulnerabilities in their instructions sets. The work is always changing, always challenging, and always makes a difference.

All of our research—from malware analysis to exploring the “Internet of Things”—is funded by customers who rely on us for solutions. If you are a problem solver, someone who likes to take things apart to see how they work, who enjoys inventing things, and who has the passion, drive, and creativity to shape future cyber security technologies, BBN is the place for you!

Raytheon is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to you, your spouse and your eligible children. In addition to protecting your and your family's health and well-being, we offer a wide array of benefits designed to meet your needs. Career growth is encouraged through support for on-site training, mentoring, tuition reimbursement, publications, and participation in leading research conferences.
