Job Description:
Collaborate with a diverse team supporting Raytheon's critical and fast-paced programs with information system capabilities in a mixed Unix-based/Windows-based environment. This role will include tasks like the following:
  • Build Unix-based production servers
  • Build Windows-based production clients and/or servers
  • Maintain, configure and install UNIX & PC workstations, servers and peripherals (i.e. raid disks, tape drives, cd/dvd, communication hardware/software)
  • Complete escalated tech support and task tickets.
  • Ensure server and application compliance with new security or performance requirements
  • Convert and upgrade to new systems
  • Maintain technical documentation on all computing environments
  • International or Domestic travel (potential)

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.


Required Skills:
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program (or completed a degree no more than 18 months prior to start date) with an emphasis in Computer Science or a related engineering field

Desired Skills:

  • Fundamental knowledge of computing infrastructures
  • Curiosity, problem solving, desire to learn new skills
  • Must possess or be able to obtain US DoD Secret Clearance. (Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
