University Programs: Systems Engineering Intern

The Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services SEIT (Systems Engineering and Integration Team) located in Indianapolis, Indiana is the central focus for concept development, trade studies, systems architecture development, and systems integration and test activities for customized engineering services and products developed in the Indianapolis engineering facility. Job Description:

Raytheon SEIT in Indianapolis, IN has an opportunity available for a Systems Engineering Intern. As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will work with a team of talented and experienced engineers in performing many core activities to include design, development or test at the system, subsystem, and component level.The selected candidate will apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to solve problems.Job responsibilities may include requirements development, design analysis, modeling and simulation, system integration, trade studies, or system verification. You will be expected to apply your engineering knowledge participating as a member of a multi-discipline team. You will be supporting projects ensuring they are completed on schedule while following established procedures.

Required Skills:

·Positive attitude, strong leadership and communication skills

·Customer focus and collaboration skills

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Electrical, Software, Aeronautical and or Mechanical engineering course work such as:basic circuits, advanced circuits, circuits labs, electro-mechanical, digital theory, thermal theory, thermal labs, computer engineering, software languages, etc. of computers and computer systems

·This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements.

Desired Skills:

·Knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools

·Other Engineering project or internship experience

Required Education:

·Candidate for Bachelors or Masters degree Aeronautical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Systems Engineering, or related field

·Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is desired (Please include a copy of your transcript)
