Raytheon’s Rotational Engineering Leadership Development Program (RELDP) fosters world-class leaders capable of leading Raytheon's engineering functions across the company.Program participants rotate through Raytheon, gaining exposure to cutting-edge principles, products and trends, working with current leaders, and developing the skills and competencies needed to help shape the company's future.

During this two year program, participants will have 2 year long assignments, at varying geographic locations.Participants are engaged in a wide range of learning experiences including mentoring, live and self-paced learning, skills assessments, community service, career planning, networking, and exposure to Raytheon-wide facilities and practices. Individual development plans are linked to Raytheon’s leadership competencies with the goal of developing Raytheon’s engineering leaders of tomorrow.

U.S Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

The first assignment associated with this job requisition is within Operations, Mission Assurance or one of the six Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) engineering directorates:

1. Electrical Design

2. Mechanical Engineering

3. Systems, Architecture Design and Integration

4. Software Engineering

5. System Validation, Test and Analysis

6. Whole Life Engineering

The first assignment will be based at one of IDS’ many locations.Possible work locations include:

· Tewksbury, MA

· Andover, MA

· Billerica, MA

· Woburn, MA

· Marlborough, MA

· Portsmouth, RI

· San Diego, CA

· Huntsville, AL

· Keyport, WA

· St. Petersburg, FL

· White Sands, NM

· McKinney, TX

· Ft. Wayne, IN

Required Skills:

·Willingness to geographically relocate during 2-year program duration

·Strong technical capability

·Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Cumulative graduate school GPA of 3.5; cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.2
  • U.S Citizenship is required.

Required Education (including Major):

·Graduating with a Master’s Degree or PhD in engineering or hard science in the current academic year (September 2016 - June 2017)

·A 3.5 GPA or higher in graduate studies; a 3.2 GPA or higher in undergraduate studies
