Job Description

Raytheon BBN Technologies seeks a rising or current graduate student engineer for an internship or co-op position in its Sensor Systems group in Cambridge, MA. Our group is looking for creative thinkers who also enjoy working with their hands. The candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team solving complex technical challenges.

Opportunity for the intern to stay beyond summer as a co-op.

• Rising or current grad student pursuing a Master's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; or in a related field with software and some hardware background
• Programming experience: C/C++, Java and/or Python preferred
• Experience with signal processing basics is a plus
• Experience with microcontrollers is a plus
• Experience with MATLAB is also a plus
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., git, svn, cvs)
• Proficient in Windows and at least familiar with Linux operating systems
• Hands on experience with electronics– assembly and/or debugging
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A US Government security clearance may be required. A willingness to apply and US citizenship are required.
