Raytheon Intelligence, Information, and Services (IIS) is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in support of the U.S. Air Force North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract (NISSC).

NISSC will provide accurate, timely, and unambiguous warning and attack assessment of Air, Missile, and Space threats with daily visibility of National Command Authority leaders including the President of the United States.

NCMC-ITW/AA is composed of Air, Missile, and Space Warning Missions located at Cheyenne Mountain AFS (CMAFS), Peterson AFB, Offutt AFB, Vandenberg AFB, and forward user and sensor sites worldwide.

Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the NISSC Contract. As a Systems Engineer your duties will include, but not be limited to: supporting systems and infrastructure engineering tasks related to program development, delivery and sustainment activities; perform infrastructure and architectural design, build documentation, perform configuration design and management, integration, and installation of complex, large scale computer environments; perform configuration management and track existing and new capabilities; and track the investigation and resolution of system performance issues as required.

In addition, the candidate will understand systems and software engineering fundamentals. The candidate should also be familiar with COTS infrastructure software products (operating systems, virtualization environments, network services, and enterprise management solutions).

Required Skills:
· Bachelor degree in engineering or related discipline.
· Experienced in system engineering, analytical, and problem solving concepts and principles.
· Familiar with interface control documentation (ICD).
· Familiar with software systems integration processes and techniques.
· Experienced with Microsoft Office product suite.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Desired Skills:

· Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS or RequisitePro
· Familiarity with third and fourth generation software languages such as C, C++, and Java.
· Familiarity with agile engineering processes. Ability to understand and apply commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the systems engineering field such as ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 or Mil-Std-499B
· Ability to communicate within the company, prepare and deliver presentations/summaries (both verbal and written), which appropriately address the intended audience.

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering obtained within last 18 months, Fall 2017 or Spring 2018.
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired. (Please include your GPA on your resume.)

This position can be a Salary Grade G06 or Salary Grade G07 based on the candidate's qualifications as it relates to the educational requirement for the position

This position requires the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement. Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens.
