University Programs: Systems Engineer (Bachelor’s Degree Level)

Job Description:

Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is seeking Systems Engineers (SE) to join and expand our Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) located in Indianapolis, Indiana where we develop solutions to solve customer needs by providing customized engineering services and products for unique customer missions.

Responsibilities include:

·Provide basic support in the development, documentation and maintenance/management of operations concepts, requirements (system, element, segment, or subsystem level), external and internal interfaces, and other systems engineering work products/artifacts

·Integrate software and hardware subsystems

·Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to solve problems

·Contribute to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads

·Follow established SE processes and procedures

Required Skills:

·Ability to apply basic engineering principles, theories and concepts

·Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems

·Ability to work in a multi discipline team environment

·Ability to articulate status and results

·Possess good written and oral communication skills

·US Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Desired Skills:

·Exposure to requirements development, derivation and management

·Exposure to integration of software and hardware subsystems

·Exposure to security engineering concepts and practices

·Exposure to the software development life cycle
·Exposure to Aerospace platforms / systems
·Ability to research and distill data into meaningful information

·Experience using MS Office Suite of tools
·Other Engineering project or internship experience

·Existing security clearance

Required Education:

·Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Physics, Math or related field

·Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (Please include GPA on your resume and upload a copy of your most recent transcript)
