Job Description:
The Systems Verification Center (SVC) engineering organization is seeking engineering leaders committed and passionate about creating innovative and cost-effective Verification and Validation solutions. As a technical member of the RF Systems Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) team, the candidate will implement systems engineering principles, methods, processes and tools on complex RF systems to verify and validate systems level requirements.

This highly dynamic environment requires both speed and efficiency in addition to maintaining product quality, functionality and traceability. Applicants are expected to be self-motivated, detail oriented and possess a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team through strong written and verbal communication skills.

The Systems Engineer will frequently work with a diverse group of software engineers, systems engineers and RF subject matter experts and must be comfortable either working independently or as part of an integrated development team. Under the oversight of Integration & Test (I&T) Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership and functional management, applicants will have the opportunity to lead small groups in systems level integration testing and requirements verification.

Responsibilities:
• Support integration and test activities during the system design, development, integration, test and flight test phases of the program
• Will work to develop novel solutions for testing and verification of radar system requirements through the use of systems engineering best practices
•Develop and execute system test procedures for verification of tactical and/or strategic radar system requirements in a laboratory environment
• Analyze system requirements, decompose requirements to software subsystems, and define testing criteria of the requirements at the software and system level
• Works with the Mode Development team to develop models and simulations to predict mode performance in flight test
• Process flight test data and compares to predicted results from the model
• Deliver and present work artifacts to IPT Lead and Program Office representatives

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of System Engineering (including Integration, Verification and Validation) work products
• Technical competence in a complex system development and testing environment
• Working knowledge of software development on Windows or Linux
• Familiarity with Radar, RF and RF Environmental concepts and technology
• Familiarity with Engineering, Engagement, Mission, or Campaign level modeling and simulation
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Desired Skills:
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills (verbal & written)
• Ability to work in highly collaborative, team-based environment
• Knowledge in Radar System Engineering and a demonstrated knowledge of System Engineering capabilities with AESA Radars
• Signal Processing knowledge and application of Signal Processing theories
• Experience working with or deploying software on distributed computer systems
• Working familiarity with all phases of software development testing including unit, integration, acceptance and regression testing
• Experience/knowledge with either MATLAB, C/C++, MathCad or other Analysis software package suite
• Experience with software development tools
• Executing task based work assignments with standard software development tools & tracking tools
• Able to effectively multi-task and manage competing priorities

Required Education (including major): Must have a BS / BA from an ABET accredited university with a major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related field by Summer 2018 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
