Job Description

In order to support Raytheon's Supply Chain expenses in excess of $7 billion annually, there is a need for highly motivated SCM professionals who have prior leadership experience and are capable of managing complex internal and external relationships in support of cutting-edge technologies, products and programs.

The Supply Chain Leadership Development Program (SCLDP) is designed to create this pipeline of talented professionals filling key roles to ensure Raytheon's Supply Chain will remain a leading discriminator in the industry. It is a two-year program consisting of twelve-month rotations that provide broad exposure to Raytheon. SCLDPs take on challenging assignments that give them the opportunity to add significant value to the company. To this end, Raytheon is looking for individuals who have a passion for Supply Chain Management, can inspire others to embrace innovation, are a proponent of continuous improvement, have the ability to be an agent of positive change and have excellent interpersonal skills. Through the SCLDP, Raytheon strives to develop strong capable leaders of the future.

SCLDP rotational assignments are selected to provide talent development and career growth by giving participants an opportunity to experience different Raytheon business units in various regions of the United States. Key roles include, but are not limited to Subcontract Management, Commodity Management, Material Program Management and Logistics. Additionally, these assignments may provide the opportunity to work with International Customers and Suppliers. Raytheon makes every effort to balance the needs LDP participants with the needs of four major business units.

Raytheon is looking for capable, self-confident individuals interested in a challenging and rewarding career opportunity. The ideal candidate should have an MBA/ Graduate degree with a specialty in Supply Chain Management, Operations or related field and three to five years of related work experience. An educational background (or equivalent work experience) in an engineering or technical discipline is desired, but not required. Candidates must obtain their degree between December of 2017 and June of 2018.

Firm Job Requirements:
  • MBA/ Graduate Degree with a specialty Supply Chain Management, Operations or related field
  • GPA of 3.2 or higher (in a 4.0 scale)
  • Ability to move for each of the two twelve-month rotations
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance*
*Many positions across Raytheon may require the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement. Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens.
