Job Description:
The Logistics Intern is responsible for developing and delivery of logistics data, provisioning data, technical data, technical publications, and training system materials for Space and Airborne Systems programs. These activities encompass the aspects of supportability engineering as they relate to logistics, provisioning, technical publications, and training systems and include the interaction with the other ILS domains such as reliability and supply support. The candidate will work in a team environment.

The Logistics Intern will be expected to:
• Process and maintain multiple elements for provisioning, data management, inventory management, and item management functions
• Interface with all functions associated with assigned contracts for spares provisioning, spares production, and depot repairs
• Interface with all functions to ensure all Raytheon and Government data systems are loaded with the correct information
• Work in a team environment to provide support of contracts, finance, supply chain, operations, engineering, manufacturing, and shipping
• Work with Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering and other related disciplines to gather and create documentation on complex electronic systems

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

For Multi-Level Intern Requisitions:
This position can be a Salary Grade of N85, N95 or NUG based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
• G04 (College Junior by Fall 2017) - must have completed 60 hours of college
• G05 (College Senior by Fall 2017) - must have completed 90 hours of college
• NUG (Post- Graduate-Masters-PhD by Fall 2017) - must have an undergraduate degree and currently enrolled or about to enroll in a graduate degree program

Required Skills:
• Experience interpreting and applying engineering drawings
• Experience in gathering and analyzing data from a variety of sources
• Experience in cross functional team environments
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office software suite
• Must be a college Junior, Senior or Graduate student by Fall 2017
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Desired Skills:
• Ability to apply Supply Chain principles during either development or sustainment program phases
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in the DoD customer community (US Army, US Air Force, US Navy)
• Ability to function well in a high pressure multi-tasking environment
• Proactive and effective in addressing issues with a program design and production support teams
• Basic understanding of technical theories and concepts in the reliability field
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

Required Education (including major): Currently pursuing a BS / BA degree from an accredited four-year university and entering as a college Junior or Senior year OR pursuing a MS / MA / PhD by Fall 2017. Must be working towards a degree in engineering, science, supply chain, or equivalent technical discipline. Must be appropriate grade level listed above.
