Job Description:

This position is for an electrical engineer to work in the Hardware Engineering Center of Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business unit. The person hired for these positions will work in the Transmitter, Receiver, EXciter (TREX) department. Working on TREX and Radar hardware requirements. This entails working in multi-disciplined, multi-functional integrated product teams to either design, develop, manufacture and/or sustain complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and/or land-based military applications. Activities may include one or more of the the following: detailed RF/Analog/Digital design, component obsolescence trades and resolution updates, production support, supplier collaboration to resolve hardware non-conformances and/or product sustainment. Specific tasks include circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation maintenance, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification. Integration and test of RF/Analog/Digital components and modules at the TREX and Radar levels may also be required.

Required Skills:

- Electrical engineering experience with an emphasis in RF, Analog and/or digital component and module design, development and/or support
- Experience with industry standard CAE (computer-aided engineering) tools for electrical engineering as well as EE lab equipment
- Experience with schematic capture, HDL code development, synthesis, simulation, and test
- Familiarity with the complete design process from requirements to development, test, and integration
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)
- Must be able to obtain an interim Secret security clearance PRIOR to starting

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity with RF design tools such as ADS, Genesys, Matlab, Labview, PSPICE and Mentor Expedition design Tool.
- Experience with industry standard CAE (computer-aided engineering) tools
- Experience with schematic capture, VHDL design/HDL code development, synthesis, simulation, and test
- Software skills with C, C++ Visual Basic, and/or assembly languages.
- Knowledge of CMMI
- Experience in cost account management and cost estimation, and engineering task planning (IMP/IMS)

Required Education (including major):
Must have a BS / BA from an ABET accredited university with a major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or other related field by Summer 2017 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
