Job Description:
The candidate will work within one of the eight departments within theMechanical Subsystems Directorate (MSD). Specific responsibilities willvary by department and experience but tasks performed may include:
Conceptualization, Detailed Design, Thermal and Structural Analysis, MechanicalIntegration of hardware items such as: airframes/structures, wings/fins,control surfaces, launching platforms, housings/enclosures, printed wiringboard assemblies and various interconnect systems.

Candidate will be expected to followestablished procedures and instructions while working closely withprogram/functional leadership to ensure the overall design objectives aremet. Employee will primarily interface with his/her immediate sectionmanager, team lead, project leaders, and other peers within the applicableprogram.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need aU.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Required Skills:
Experience with the use and application of basic principles, theories, andconcepts within the mechanical engineering field.

Familiarity with 3D modeling CAD tools, geometric dimensioningand tolerancing methods, and knowledgeable in reading mechanical fabricationand assembly drawings.

Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools.

Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0

U.S. Citizenship is required.
