Job Description:



This position is for an electrical engineer to work in the Hardware Center of Raytheon’s Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business unit.The person hired for this position will work on new product development based on descriptions and specifications provided by our customers.This entails working in integrated product teams to design, develop and manufacture complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval and land-based military applications.Activities may include circuit analysis and simulation, design documentation, construction of breadboards, design verification and testing, and hardware integration at the level of electronic components and circuit boards.



Required Skills:


·Electrical engineering experience with an emphasis on analog and digital design


·Experience with industry standard computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools for electrical engineering as well as EE lab equipment


·Experience with schematic capture, as well as synthesis, simulation, test and integration as required


·Must be able to obtain an interim Secret security clearance PRIOR to starting


·Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (as verified by a transcript when applying)


Desired Skills:


·Familiarity with Hardware Description Language (HDL) coding


·Experience with report writing and oral presentation


·Experience with at least one analysis tool such as matlab, Mathcad or Mathematica



Required Education:


Must have an MS / MA from an ABET accredited university with a major Electrical Engineering (or related field) by Summer 2017 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment
