Job Description:
The RF Products and Technology Department is currently searching for an Electrical Engineer to work with a variety of programs as a contributor to detailed design, simulation, product development and initial product testing.

Ideal candidate will have knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

ØDesign engineer for the development of transmitters, receivers and exciters.

ØFamiliarity with Radar basic concepts, hardware/software integration and test process and procedures.

ØDesign, fabrication oversight, testing and optimization of various antenna types.

The position requires frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, concepts and techniques. Candidates will be expected to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, working under general supervision. Successful candidate should expect to be immersed in a fast-paced, team-based, and challenging technical environment where an individual with talent and initiative can stand out and thrive.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Required Skills:

A solid background and practical understanding of RF design considerations to include experience or relevant course work.

ØCandidate will have solid communication and teaming skills.

ØStrong problem solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges.

ØAbility to prepare documentation with minimal oversight.

ØU.S. Citizenship is Required

Desired Skills:

ØStrong technical and interpersonal skills with desire to support enterprise initiatives.

ØExperience in test and measurement of RF products.

ØExperience with any of the following tools: Mentor DX Designer, MATLAB, MathCad, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), UNIX and ADS.

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Engineering Physics from an ABET accredited curriculum with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

The Job Title for a Bachelor of Science degree is an Electrical Engineer I. The Job Title for a Master of Science degree is an Electrical Engineer II. NOTE:
This position can be a Salary Grade E01 or Salary Grade E02 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement. Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens.
