RAPP is a deeply integrated part of Diversified Agency Services, a division of Omnicom GroupYOUR ROLEThe junior data analyst will work in partnership with the director of experience analytics. This role manages and applies rigor to the collection of data from all aspects of a consumer experience; advises solution managers on the availability, collection and application of data from all channels; and monitors precision marketing tools that include data collection and data visualization applications. This person may have expertise in specific channels in support of a client solution.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESManage reporting requests from start to finish (gathering requirements, pulling data, compiling reporting, making recommendations, giving presentation)
Work with the development team to ensure proper tagging of email content as necessary
Aggregate data from all sources, including Web and ESP (ExactTarget)
Update all email reports and check for inconsistencies
Develop recommendations for improved performance
Prepare ad hoc reports for internal teams
Maintain reporting templates and databases
Perform ad hoc research in support of email test plans
Assist in the interpretation of test results to drive optimization
Work with an internal team to present results, collect feedback and communicate final reporting to clientsSKILLS and EXPERIENCEExperience in data-mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate
Understanding of Web/e-commerce analysis and applicable tools
Strong experience in MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and first-rate interpersonal skills at all levels
Ability to deliver work within tight timelines, to budget and with high quality
Excellent team player but also excels in working on own initiative
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Domo, QlikView, GoodData, Looker, etc., is a plus
Experience with SQL, SAL SQL, R, Python or other analytical platforms is a plus
Some technical knowledge of data models and database design development is usefulEDUCATION and OTHER REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree, preferably in a business- and/or math-related field
2+ years of experience in data analytics
Strong drive to improve and learn new skills
