Job Description

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee owned company supporting multiple technology development efforts, is searching for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join the Advanced Technology Development Operation in its Cyber Solutions Group. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent technical skills drawing from a number of Electrical Engineering technical skillsets to perform research and development tasks in support of electronic and electromagnetic systems, such as high power microwave (HPM) system analysis and development of secure hardware and analysis tools for computer and power systems. The work will include collaborating with scientists, engineers and technicians to perform simulations and failure analysis, conduct day-to-day testing, analyze test results, and write and present test summary reports and scientific reports. Flexibility is a must, as our tasks include a wide variety of topics in support of our mission: embedded systems; electronic design; analog/mixed signal design; physical prototyping; electrical and RF/electromagnetics testing; and electric power. Responsibilities will include documentation of progress, effective communication, and presentation of results and progress. Experience working with electronic design, verification, and hardware prototyping will be a significant plus. The ideal candidate will be a recent Bachelor's graduate or currently enrolled a Master's level Electrical Engineering student capable of independent research and development. Exposure to discrete analog and digital circuit design, SPICE simulation, VHDL, Verilog, Python, Java, and C++ is desired.

Desired Qualifications

* Presently enrolled in a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
* GPA of 3.7
* Experience with failure analysis
* Experience with modeling/simulation software (e.g Matlab, SPICE, HFSS)
* Experience with analog/mixed signal design
* Self-motivated yet able to work well within a development team

Required Skills

* Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field
* Minimum GPA of 3.2
* US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
* Demonstrated technical writing ability

Required Experience

* Experience with electronic and RF/EM lab equipment and laboratory practices
* Experience with electronic design, simulation, prototyping
* Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, and C++)
