Rademaker USA, Inc. is the North American sales and service subsidiary of Rademaker BV, a Netherlands based worldwide leader in the manufacture of industrial food processing equipment, primarily for the baking industry. Our facility in Hudson Ohio houses our sales, accounting, project management, and technical support for the U.S. and Canadian markets. Our equipment solutions can be found in every sector of the baking industry.

Purpose of the position

Responsible for supporting the North American market with technological bakery support of Rademaker equipment. Candidates must be customer oriented and assist with building and maintaining customer relationships. Specific requirements of this position are the knowledge of bakery products and how they are impacted by the relationship between formulation and process.Travel (including some international); customer visits, attendance at industry trade shows and functions are an integral part of this position.

RSM, After Sales & Service Representatives, TSM, RTC, Project Management.

Tasks and Definitions

Bakery Technologist

Assists the RSM and Service platforms of Rademaker USA from a technological perspective on new equipment sales and commissioning of new equipment along with support and on-going training of existing Legacy systems.

Duties such as, but not limited to:

    • Commissioning of New Rademaker Equipment Deliveries.
    • Process training of client operators and personnel on Rademaker equipment
    • Providing technological assistance of existing Rademaker USA equipment deliveries. To include process troubleshooting and operator line training;
    • Assistance with possible new project and product developments; process and product validation trials - both on site and in the RTC.
    • Reports planned actions and results in a timely manner according to the company rules and regulations in such a way that the management and involved colleagues are up-to-date with the requirements and status of projects.

Other tasks

Communicate with the customer and Rademaker organization about customer complaints, service issues.

Actively develop and implement improvements that effect the own working methods. Propose improvements regarding current and new product lines.

A part of the on-call duty rotation for our 24/7 customer support.

Is responsible for:

Timely, complete and correct transfer of technological information to RSM, RUSA After Sales and Service, TSM, RTC, and/or Project Management regarding projects.

Follow new developments and maintain and further develop own skills and competence level.

Is authorized to:

Communicate technological and commercial project information as dictated by Rad. Cul project management to the customer.

Job Requirements

Education on minimum Associate level, preferably a technical bakery or food science degree

In depth knowledge of bakery formulation and processes a plus,

Competent to organize and manage self and an equipment process,

Willingness to travel about 50-60%. Majority of travel will be domestic, but occassional international travel will be required.
