Job Description

With all the innovation in mobile space, you will be working on next generation designs using cutting-edge technology for verification. The work involves developing design corresponding test plans, architecting and developing verification environments, and applying these to verify complex designs until coverage goals are achieved dynamically or statically, and completing all required verification activities at IP, sub-system, SoC, and system/architecture level to insure high quality commercial success of our products. As verification is a rapidly changing field, developing and deploying new verification methodologies, tools to continuously improve quality and efficiency is an essential part of the work you will do. Assertions, simulation, formal verification (static property checking), HW-SW co-verification, constraint/HVL-based verification, simulation acceleration, emulation are all tools in our verification toolbox you will use on a daily basis. Architecture validation, system level use-case focused power, performance and functionality in conjunction with FW/SW are integral part of this job.

A successful DV candidate will be detail oriented with solid analytic and debugging skills, strong knowledge of digital design, good understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and fine written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in Hardware verification languages (HVL) such as SystemVerilog testbench (OVM/UVM) and SystemC and Hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog, SystemVerilog and VHDL is preferred.

These positions range from entry-level to Sr. Staff engineer responsibilities. The technical disciplines, languages and methodologies included in this team are:

Wireless LAN Verification :

- Verify WiFi and WiFi integrated SOC using state of art verification methodology (UVM)
- Verify unit level modules and create reusable test benches to port them to higher level systems
- Block level verification to subsystem level verification to MAC-PHY-Radio verification
- Support IP Integration to SOC or help other teams incorporate Wireless Technology to higher level systems
- Low-Power Design Verification
- SOC Design Verification (ARM, AMBA, AHB, AXI, Peripherals, clock, security)
- Work on WiFi technology (WiFi locationing, MU-MIMO, Beamforming, Social-WiFi, 802.11 11a,b,g,n,ac - 11ah based IOT products)
- Work on various Qualcomm flagship platforms where WiFi is attached or integrated
- Potentially play lead roles in various aspects of verification and tremendous growth opportunity
