Job Description

Coordinate with Department Head and Assistant Department Head of Management regarding faculty promotions and tenure. Conduct elections for the Faculty Relations Committee. Assemble materials and distribute completed promotion packets to appointed reviewers. Compose offer letters, collect faculty activity reports, generate paperwork for leaves and sabbaticals. Develop reports on adequacy of teaching resources across Management areas. Serve as administrative resource for department heads for projects and groups.


* High School Diploma/GED.
* Four years office or secretarial experience.
* A valid US or Canadian driver's license.
* Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Must become familiar with University policies and procedures regarding faculty tenure and promotion, faculty contracts, travel, and leaves.
* Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with diverse faculty, staff, and students.
* Ability to work independently and function well under pressure.
* High level of professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and ability to meet specific deadlines.


* Administrative or executive secretarial background.
* University experience.
* Microsoft Access, Qualtrics, and desktop publishing experience.
