Conduct internal audits and Sarbanes–Oxley Section 404 compliance reviews that focus on financial, operational and accounting controls within PSEG.  Position requires contributing in a team environment to deliver assurance and advisory services to internal clients on accounting and operational control issues. The successful incumbent must exhibit leadership, customer/client focus, strong written and oral communication skills, facilitation skills, negotiation skills, high level of initiative, integrity, and adaptability.


Required Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:


• Bachelors' degree in Accounting or other relevant degree.

• 3-5 years accounting, auditing and /or Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 experience with a "Big Four" firm or large public company.

• Proficiency in accounting and auditing standards and ability to analyze operations and make sound judgments with limited information.

• Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office applications.

• Willingness to travel locally (within New Jersey).  Approximately 10% may be required.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Candidate must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.

• Successful candidate must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.


Desired Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:



• Knowledge of data analytics software and some knowledge of SAP.
