Goals and Objectives

The primary intent of the project that the intern will be working on is to help PSCU implement an Enterprise Knowledge Management system by preparing knowledge assets for integration and migration. Each business unit has been tasked with documenting and sharing their key procedures into a shared library.

In addition, there are opportunities to participate in other KM initiatives based on availability and interest.

The following are the project's key milestones:

* Discovery: Interview key stakeholders to identify and differentiate their key departmental procedures and to inventory current knowledge assets relating to these procedures. OUTPUT: Procedure List and associated asset inventory (including path to existing reference/repository).
* Determine: Leverage the input from the Discovery phase to research, identify and draft a prioritized list of documentation deliverables to present to stakeholders. OUTPUT: Deliverable agreement to produce X number of procedures to cover all scoped topics.
* Develop: Once approval is received, move forward with documenting procedures within the client organizations SharePoint procedure library using Microsoft templates and defined methodology. Communicate the process to be used for client-owned updates and maintenance. Collaborate with the identified subject matter expert(s) for each procedure to finalize and publish. OUTPUT: Published to the business unit SharePoint procedure library all in-scope procedures.
* Transition: Review content owner on key maintenance steps, alerts, and workflows. OUTPUT: Ownership transferred in writing to departmental representative.
