Job Description

The primary purpose of your job is to assist in helping deliver quality care to our Assisted Living and Memory Care population. We are looking for applicants who love and are dedicated to working with the elderly population; and have patience, experience and strong desire to learn.


Summary of essential job functions

* Act as in aiding the current clinical team in assisting the resident's with ADL's
* Help remind resident of medication times and meal times.
* Assist residents in medication administration.
* Ability to respond to emergency situations and alert the Director of Nursing or supervisory staff.
* Assist residents with cleaning, laundry, and toileting.

Skills necessary

* Compassionate and empathetic personality.
* Effective communication and computer skills a must.
* Previous experience in a long term care or assisted living setting is a plus.
* Must be open to training and learning day-to-day responsibilities.
* Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.
* Experienced Caregiver and/or trained Medical Assistant preferred.
