Job Description

ProMedica Home Care has a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position available. We invite candidates that are interested in a challenging career and the opportunity to join an awesome and dedicated team to apply on-line for a rewarding and exciting opportunity! The Occupational Therapy Assistant will administer various occupational therapy programs under guidelines established by a Registered Occupational Therapist. The employee will also facilitate rehabilitation of physically disabled patients, to maximize function and independence while providing one-on-one therapy to patients in the privacy of their homes. Employees receive flexible hours, pay per visit and mileage when visiting patient to patient.

Job Requirements

* Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy/Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
* Licensed COTA in Michigan
* CPR certified
* Previous homecare experience preferred
* Strong customer service skills; must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries
* Effective interpersonal skills
* Must be able to use laptop and be comfortable with computerized documentation system
