Job Description

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is one of the largest acute-care facilities in the region. Our 794-bed hospital is staffed by more than 4,800 professional healthcare employees who serve a 27-county area throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. Position Summary

The technician conducts and records electroencephalography (EEG tests) on both inpatient and outpatient infants. They perform routine, portable, ambulatory, video, and ESC EEGs independently on all infants as ordered by physicians. Responsibilities include, transferring records to the reader station and archive when necessary on all equipment. In addition, obtain pertinent patient history as required as well as participating in on-call and cross-campus rotation as needed. If you are interested, we invite you to apply!

Job Requirements

Associates degree or higher; college courses in biological sciences helpful

Experience preferred in EEG

CPR certified

Must be able to move about hospital and between workstations

Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries

Must be able to input and retrieve information form a computer

Must be able to lift or carry medium to heavy weight material or equipment

Must be able to tolerate exposure to chemicals and operate equipment essential to performing EEGs
