SystemOne is currently accepting candidates for a Supply Chain Engineer - Network Optimization in York, PA! Supply Chain Engineer - Network Optimization will work within our Network Strategy team, a group of professionals that work on all of the "outside the four walls" stuff. Our client is a world recognized supply chain strategy and logistics consulting firm. This is a Full-time / Direct Hire opportunity.

Supply Chain Engineer - Network Optimization Job Description:

* The Supply Chain Engineer will have superior skills in areas such as network optimization, modeling, inventory planning, network assessments, and other logistical areas. As a Supply Chain Engineer on this team, you will be expected to do the execution of strategic network optimization studies for domestic and international supply chain networks. These studies include: distribution network consolidation/expansion, manufacturing optimization, transportation policy optimization, etc.
* The Supply Chain Engineer will typically handle 1-2 projects at a time of varying complexity. A strong background in data analysis skills is essential to being successful in this position.
* Travel is required, typically 30-50%.

Supply Chain Engineer - Network Optimization Responsibilities:

* Use analytical tools such as Supply Chain Guru, LogicNet Plus, SQL, Access, and/or Excel to effectively execute network optimization, modeling, inventory planning and other logistical areas.
* Serve as a reference for analysts.
* May lead parts of client presentations with support from more senior team members.
* Contribute to sections of other client presentations.
* Assist with analyst data training.

Supply Chain Engineer - Network Optimization Education & Experience:

* Engineering, Operations Research, or Supply Chain, related undergraduate degree required
* Master's Degree a plus


* Ideally 3-7 years of experience with a combination of inventory planning and network modeling.
* 2+ years of experience in network optimization, strategy, modeling, and inventory planning projects in a Supply Chain, Distribution or Manufacturing environment
* Experience with MS Office (especially Excel and Access), strong analytical skills, solid knowledge of Supply Chain software such as LogicNet Plus or Supply Chain Guru is required.
