Job Description

Joule is looking for a Field Services Engineer to add to their team in the Philadelphia, PA area! The ideal candidate would have a background in Biotechnology or Pharmaceuticals, with about 1-2 years of experience with a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree. Responsibilities:

* Perform repair, maintenance, on-site installation and qualification of chromatography systems at company's clients
* Provide technical support via telephone.
* Communicate company offerings and identify opportunities through site visits.
* Prepare proposals for, service, spare parts, equipments, and components.
* Manage and perform projects (e.g. upgrades or refurbishment of current systems)
* Serve as the project coordinator of modular projects
* Develop and conduct safety training's on equipment

Requirements:

* B.S. Chemical Engineering or B.S. Mechanical Engineering
* 1-3 years of experience with and knowledge about the following:
* Chromatography equipment
* Process Engineering and process instrumentation
* Mechanical aptitude
* Troubleshooting of control systems and instrumentation
* Electro-mechanical (e.g. loop test) and hand tools is preferred
* Client facing - Be comfortable presenting to and interfacing with clients over the phone and in person


* Must be able to travel 50% of the time
