Aerospace Dynamics International, Inc. (ADI) manufactures machined parts and assemblies for the commercial and military aerospace industries. Position Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering team and build out the next generation of our platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform builder with experience in developing scalable data platforms. We're looking for someone with experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science and data products. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development.

The Software Engineer analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, writes, edits, and implements software programming applications. May specialize in one or more areas of development, including network, operating systems, databases, or applications.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

* Analyzes and defines software requirements to determine specifications and standards


* Proposes software solutions. Determines the cost of new and modified systems, and engages in the proposal process.


* Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming


* Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle


* Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed


* Determines the cost of new and modified systems, and engages in the proposal process.


* Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

Required Education:

* B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
