Entry-level engineering position will be responsible for the design of contour forgings billing, tooling and forging processes.

* Learn and apply CFW's forging design fundamentals
* Design forging process and tools
* Responsible for the forging process throughout the forge shop
* Work with inspection department to determine dimensional confirming forgings
* Determine tooling rework as required on old tools
* Coordinate quote process for tooling
* Organize and maintain purchase orders for tooling requiring rework
* Work with multiple departments throughout the organization and work with outside vendors to manufacture and maintain tooling


* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline required
* A strong technical aptitude along with the ability to work independently, yet interact closely with other departments, customers, and vendors
* Strong cross functional team skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Computer skills required in CAD software
* Mathematical, analytical, problem solving and organizations skills
* Knowledge of forging/manufacturing process a plus
* Successfully passing basic knowledge test
* Writing must be clear and unambiguous
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
* Strong problem solving skills and a creative approach for generating new ideas
* An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles
