The physical therapist works with patients and clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. The physical therapist evaluates and treats patients under the supervision of a physician utilizing the parameters established by The Guide to Physical Therapy Practice and the Pennsylvania State Practice Act. The goal of the physical therapist is to alleviate discomfort and restore function, provide education on prevention and wellness issues. Education: Diploma from an approved program of Physical Therapy. Experience: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Pennsylvania State license. Current CPR for HealthCare Provider

It is very important that you have your insurance identification cards with you when seeking services at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. This enables us to provide proper billing, verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-approval for HMO patients before receiving services.
You will be asked to pay any copay or deductible not covered by your insurance at the time of service.
If you do not have insurance coverage, you are financially responsible for payment of any balance due. For your convenience, the hospital accepts cash, check, money order, debit card, electronic funds transfer, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
