Position Title:

External Description:Our Polaris Engineering Internship Program is an ideal way to gain hands on experience within product development engineering. Our 12-week program allows you to have exposure to multiple facets of engineering to help you develop and define core areas of interest and strengths. Intern assignments offer value-added deliverables that have a direct impact on developing new Polaris products.

You will have the invaluable chance to put what you have learned in school to life through real world project work at one of the most dynamic companies within the power sports industry. Through your experience you will have opportunities to expedite your knowledge of the business, develop innovative solutions to real business challenges and build a network of Polaris employees.

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will:

* Receive personalized goals and projects that track directly to the needs of the business and allow you to have a hand in key company initiatives
* Collaborate on cross functional teams in order to design, develop and implement various engineering projects
* Drive continuous improvements and problem solving for engineering roadblocks
* Apply Electrical Theory through product design and test

Internship Details:

* Internships are paid 12-15 week opportunities during the summer
* Polaris offers both financial housing assistance and relocation reimbursement to interns who qualify (based on mileage)
* Day-to-day transportation is the intern's responsibility
* Summer interns from across the U.S. will attend Polaris' Intern Training in Plymouth, MN as an opportunity to meet with leaders and other interns from across the company
* Interns who demonstrate exceptional performance and a passion to learn may be offered an additional internship or a full-time position, depending on graduation date eligibility

Job Locations:

Electrical Engineering interns are typically placed in Roseau, MN; Wyoming, MN; or Portland, OR

Required Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Agricultural Engineering
* Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
* Right to work that is not solely based on possession of a student visa or visa sponsored by a third-party
* Ability to solve real world engineering problems and apply active process improvement methods
* Interest in operating Polaris products
* Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous related internship/work experience
