Job Summary: Directs and manages the respiratory and pulmonary care for a designated group of patients, reporting to the Director and management team for Respiratory Care. In collaboration with the RN, provides direct care as dictated by patients# needs Minimum Requirements: Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) accredited#School of Respiratory Therapy required.##One year of appropriate respiratory care experience in an acute care facility within the past two years.# Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialing by the National Board for Respiratory Care required. #NEW GRADUATES are encouraged to apply if taking the RRT National Boards within 1 month of hire.# New hires will have 1 month to obtain RRT credential. Basic computer skills. Preferred Qualifications: BS Degree; Pediatric NICU/PICU experience; experience in a children#s hospital; adult critical care experience preferred. Licensure and Certifications: Current Pennsylvania Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialing by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Current BLS Health Care Provider within 1 month of employment.# ACLS/PALS within 9 months of employment.# All pediatric/neonatal practitioners need to obtain their STABLE and NRP within 9 months of employment.# All Medical / Surgical therapists need to obtain their AE-C within 9 months of employment. NPS certification for all pediatric/neonatal practitioners within 9 months of employment. # #LI-ML1 HTFSJ
