About the Job:
Location: Sunnyvale

This position within the Adaptec branded product Compatibility Team (ITL) provides compatibility and performance measurement support for the Adaptec by PMC products.

Responsibilities:

- Work directly with the Interoperability Test Lab (ITL) team to help test hardware and software compatibility with Adaptec by PMC products.
- Assist in developing code to automate compatibility tests for ITL.
- Run various performance benchmarks as well as help develop scripts used in automating performance measurements.
- Help to diagnose, replicate, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues that affect compatibility of our products.

Qualifications:

- Strong software coding skills a definite plus.
- Strong technical knowledge. Must be able to work with current computer hardware and software. Strong working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and VMWare is a definite asset.
- Hardware and software troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Effective verbal and written English skills are a requirement.
