SUMMARY:
Responsible for contacting both active and non-active Microsoft partners to recruit for desired programs and increase sales volumes. Serve as a Microsoft program recruitment specialist and act as a reseller and internal sales resource to help drive Microsoft Volume Licensing revenue and customer breadth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Grow current Microsoft customer base by working with customers, Company sales reps and the vendor
  • Remain customer-facing and sales rep-facing for all questions
  • Responsible for all aspects of MS unmanaged account growth within West Region including renewals, Open L, Cloud, and customer satisfaction.
  • Make proactive customer contacts daily to grow sales volume & breadth of Microsoft products at Company
  • Drive daily focused outbound calls as well as replying to direct and License desk Microsoft emails
  • Recruit resellers into Microsoft's Partner program and any other campaign approved by the vendor and management.
  • Manage lead development, follow-up and closure; Provide support necessary to develop leads and follow them to closure
  • Develop and remain knowledgeable on core product groups (Office, Windows, Server) and be able to demo and present value prop on each
  • Data mining to determine and find appropriate targets for Microsoft.
  • Establish strong relationship with customers and Microsoft sales teams
  • Target decreasing customers and increase Microsoft sales
  • Build an understanding of Microsoft programs, product offerings and key competitive products.
  • Attend specific trainings with Company and vendor personnel and online, as needed or required
  • Answer phone and respond to all customer requests
  • Identify market and product gaps and communicate findings to Company and vendor management

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Strong small and midsized business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • PC manufacture experience/knowledge desired
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs required
