Job Description

We welcome you to join Philips Ultrasound as a Junior SW Quality Assurance Test Engineer in our Bothell, WA location.

Your Team

Design Assurance which is responsible for testing/evaluating ultrasound products to ensure they meet product requirements and intended uses.


Your Role as a Junior SW Quality Assurance Test Engineer for product test planning, test design, execution and reporting. Software application test experience in Windows environment is desired.

This position will be conducting and providing the following:

- Product Requirements review

- Develop product test strategies

- Develop Product test plans

- Develop Product test schedule

- Develop product test procedures

- Execute product verification tests

- Execute product exploratory tests

- Generate product test reports

- Verify completed product defects for closure


- BSCS, BSEE degree or equivalent experience required.

- The candidate must be a fast learner that is capable of accepting and dealing with dynamic program changes.

- Must be able to analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.

- Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

- Knowledge of a regulated DOD, FAA or FDA development environment is desirable
