Description

The Center for Dirt and Gravel Road Studies at the Thomas D. Larson Pennsylvania Transportation Institute is looking for a Summer Student Intern to work with Center staff on a variety of projects related to rural road education, Conservation District outreach and research. The Intern may additionally assist the Center with administrative duties related to planning and event coordination. The Intern is expected to be majoring in an environmental or conservation related field and have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite. The student should have a strong interest in and basic knowledge of rural road networks and the impacts of road/stream crossings. Good technical writing, presentation and interpersonal skills required. This position will be approximately 20 hours per-week and is expected to last into August.
