Description

The Power and Control Systems Department of the Applied Research Laboratory is seeking an undergraduate student to assemble and test vehicle battery packs in a laboratory environment. Students studying Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering are encouraged to apply. No prior experience in battery engineering is necessary, but candidates must be able to apply entry level physics and mathematical training to the completion of battery pack design, assembly, testing, and analysis. Technical training will be provided. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer. Candidate selected may be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
