Description

The Institute for CyberScience (ICS) is seeking up to two Business Analyst Graduate Assistants to join our engagement team. You will be an integral contributor to a dynamic and growing team of specialists supported by an exciting $60 million Penn State investment in advanced research cyberinfrastructure (ICS-ACI). Penn State's elite researchers use our high-performance research cloud to solve real-world problems by conducting simulations, data mining and other high-performance computing operations. You will participate as important member of our community of specialists to support this ground-breaking work. As our Business Analyst Graduate Assistant, you will work as part of a team to: provide business analysis and logistics support such as: developing a process for client fulfillment; receiving/supporting fulfilling client requests for quotes, services or grant/proposal support; analyzing and prioritizing requests; and tracking projects. This position typically requires an MBA student in good standing and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Desired skills include: experience in business operation analysis and client support; excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Additional preferred education, experience, or certifications. Preferred skills: The ability to pick up and learn information technology concepts and infrastructure quickly and independently.
