Description

The Institute for CyberScience (ICS) is seeking up to two Business Analysts (Graduate Wage) to join our administrative team. You will be an integral contributor to a dynamic and growing team of specialists supported by an exciting $60 million Penn State investment in advanced research cyberinfrastructure (ICS-ACI). Penn State's elite researchers use our high-performance research cloud to solve real-world problems by conducting simulations, data mining and other high-performance computing operations. You will participate as an important member of our community of specialists to support this ground-breaking work. As our Business Analyst (Graduate Wage), you will work as part of a team to: support business analysis and provide research services including compiling and analyzing data from multiple sources and developing summaries, reports and recommendations on a wide variety of topics including strategic planning, quality improvement, performance measurement and business modeling. Duties are performed at various levels within the defined title. This position requires an MBA student in good standing. Desired skills include: experience in strategic/business planning; experience with researching topics and developing summary reports; excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
