Penn State Great Valley invites applications for a non-tenure-track position in finance for its innovative AACSB-accredited Master of Finance and M.B.A. programs. The position is for one-year, with opportunity for renewal. Part of The Pennsylvania State University, The Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies (https://greatvalley.psu.edu/) is located 25 miles northwest of downtown Philadelphia. The nation's first research university facility permanently housed in a corporate park, PSGV stands among world-class corporate neighbors. It was created to accommodate the busy schedules of full-time professionals and other adults advancing or changing their careers and emphasizes the link between academic theory and professional practice. The surrounding region offers an exceptionally rich cultural life and the natural beauty of Chester County, Pennsylvania. While this position is primarily focused on teaching, evidence of prior and ongoing research is an advantage. Faculty members also advise students and fulfill program, campus, and University service assignments. Preferred candidates must hold an earned doctorate in finance or economics from an AACSB-accredited institution. Candidates with a Master's degree and appropriate industry experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate should be able to teach Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, and Investments. Ability to teach effectively in an online environment is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching six-courses per academic year.The position will be available for the fall 2019 semester.
