Penn State Law is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Assistant to support the faculty in University Park. The Administrative Support Assistant position is responsible for general office activities including, but not limited to: typing various documents for faculty such as books, letters, law review articles, memos, classroom materials, exams, briefs, pleadings and other legal documents; using CANVAS to assist with course management; operating a variety of office equipment; making travel arrangements and processing expense reports; reserving rooms and ordering meals; coordinating arrangements for speakers, symposiums and other faculty programs; maintaining files and records; assisting with the exam process; directing calls to appropriate individuals/units. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will possess: excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and problem-solving skills; the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and the ability to work within a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, e.g. Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, including the ability to create footnotes and citations, preferred. http://pennstatelaw.psu.edu/
