PeaceHealth is seeking a Physician - Pediatric Gastroenterologist for a 1.0 full time equivalent Exempt position. This position will be working Day shift with shift durations of Variable.

PeaceHealth, in collaboration with a large private practice, is seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a growing community of pediatric subspecialists in Eugene, Oregon. This position is primarily outpatient with some inpatient consulting at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, Oregon. RiverBend is a 388 bed hospital offering pediatric subspecialties including pediatric surgery, pediatric anesthesiology, neonatology, cardiology, infectious disease, child neurology, psychiatry and developmental pediatrics. Inpatients are managed by a well-established and highly skilled team of pediatric hospitalists. Full endoscopy and infusion services are available. 

This physician will be highly engaged with local pediatricians and other primary care providers to reduce barriers to care and to enable pediatric patients to access care and service locally.

  • Board Certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology required, with minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship experience preferred.
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent skills in managing the entire spectrum of pediatric gastroenterology disorder, performing endoscopic procedures independently, and communicating effectively with families and community health partners to grow positive partnerships
  • 12-14 outpatients/day.
  • Call 1:7.
