Req ID: 147798

PeaceHealth is seeking to expand its Infectious Disease team in the scenic Pacific Northwest.

Bellingham, Washington is surrounded by stunning vistas of Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands and the North Cascade, Coast and Cascade mountain ranges. Residents enjoy unspoiled natural beauty of the area, support sustainable agriculture and participate in strong community volunteerism and education.

In addition to local ID needs growing at 10% per year, there is a need to expand ID telemedicine services to PeaceHealth sites in Alaska and the San Juan Islands, as well as pick up and expand an HIV clinic. The ideal candidate will also have an interest in infection prevention with a plan to assume a role in the program.

Why you’ll love the practice:

  • Enjoy a shift-based call schedule with every 4th week off, and only one in 4 weekends on call.
  • Emphasis on excellent medicine with continuity of care from inpatient to outpatient.
  • HIV panel available due to a retirement.
  • Opportunities in infection prevention and telemedicine.

  • EPIC EMR.
