PeaceHealth is seeking a Physician - Cardiac Electrophysiologist based in the Springfield, OR community.

Cardiac Electrophysiology for Oregon Cardiology

This is an opportunity to be employed by the dominant health care system in the region that employs a full time group of 12 cardiologists.   

   

Position & Hospital Highlights:

  • Our team includes 12 Physicians, 7 Advanced Practice Clinicians (PA-C/NP).
  • RiverBend Hospital has robust Cardiovascular program that includes a World Class program for Chronic Total Occlusions, a robust TAVR program, Robotic surgery for Mitral valve repair and a well-established Cryo -ablation program for Atrial Fibrillation. 
  • Streamlined Rapid Access Clinic- patients are seen within 48 hours and Cath Lab adjoining the Cardiology clinic.       
  • The Cardiology team is recognized as regional leaders who draw from beyond their primary service area.
  • The practice currently supports 4 outreach clinic sites in the primary and secondary service areas.  There are opportunities for community outreach and ongoing academic research including; absorbable stents, bypass times and medications to reduce the risk of kidney injury.
  • Call will be shared equally within this specialty 1:3.
  • RiverBend Hospital is a 386 bed state-of-the art tertiary care center for Cardiology within a primary service area of 350,000+ population.
