Job Description

College Student Talent Community

Are you a current college student interested in internships or co-ops at Paycor? Want to be considered for full-time positions that coincide with your future college graduation date? Join our College Student Talent Community!

What happens after I join?

The Paycor Talent Acquisition Team will know you're interested in positions before they've even been posted! Our recruiters can reach out to you directly when an internship/co-op or full-time position comes up that you are a fit for and lines up with your timeline. We may also reach out to you from time-to-time with exciting Paycor news or announcements.

What types of internships/co-ops do you have for students?

It changes all the time! We believe these experiences should be transformative and valuable for all involved so we only hire interns/co-ops when we have a challenging project for them to take on and when a manager can mentor and guide them.

That means we don't always have an opportunity available, but when we do, we will look at students in our Talent Community and post the position on our Careers site. To learn what it's like to be an intern or new professional at Paycor, see the Students section of our website.

Past interns/co-ops have worked on projects across the business in departments like:

* Finance & Accounting
* Information Technology
* Marketing
* Sales
* Human Resources
* Client Services

When do you hire interns/co-ops/graduating seniors?

We hire throughout the year when challenging projects arise - there is no good or bad time to join the College Student Talent Community!

What do you look for when you hire college students?

That depends on the type of position, but typically, regardless of the role, we look for:

* Students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program
* Strong academic performance as evidenced by a solid GPA
* Demonstrated leadership skills
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Ability to balance many priorities and manage time effectively
* Strong work ethic demonstrated through part-time jobs, internships, and/or involvement in extracurricular activities
* Innovative thinkers and passionate doers

What's the interview process like?

Usually, it looks something like this:

* Phone Interview with our Campus Recruiting Program Manager
* In-Person Interview with a panel of managers
* Offer

Ready to join? Great! Just follow these steps:

* Click "Apply for this Position" below
* Follow the directions to upload your resume and answer a few brief questions
* In the "Comments" section, include:
* Expected graduation date (include both month and year)
* Desired field of work (sales, marketing, HR, IT, etc.)
* Type of role you are seeking: part-time internship, full-time internship/co-op, full-time position post-graduation
* Which term you are seeking an opportunity for (fall semester, spring semester, summer)
* Number of hours you can work per week

That's all! Now, you'll be in the loop about future opportunities for college students at Paycor!

About Paycor

Since 1997, Paycor has been involved as a major supporter of a 5K run and fun walk held in New Richmond, Ohio. The race has special meaning to Paycor as a company and to its employees because it is held in memory of someone who worked for Paycor, Scott McDowell. Tragically, Scott passed away from a heart condition when only 31 years old, 2 days before he was to marry a fellow Paycor employee. Scott was a significant member of the company's management team and was instrumental in new office expansions and human resources. Most importantly, he was a great friend to everyone. Those who knew him were aware of his pride for his hometown of New Richmond. Appropriately, the race benefits the Boys and Girls Club of New Richmond. This non-profit serves over 140 children each year. In 1998, the race was officially titled in his name: the River Days Scott McDowell Memorial 5K. You are invited to participate in this race that takes place each August. Should you need more information, please feel free to call the New Richmond/Clermont County Boys & Girls Club at 513·553·0188.
