Job Description

PathPoint is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to lead our Project SEARCH team in Culver City, CA. Project SEARCH is a unique one-year internship program that enables young adults with developmental disabilities to learn invaluable job skills in a competitive work setting.

In this role, you will ensure the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the internship program while directly supporting 9 interns in their training and development. We're looking for an enthusiastic and organized leader who has prior experience working with people with disabilities. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.

* Develop and regularly review program curriculum to ensure that activities and supports are meaningful.
* Review referrals for eligibility, conduct intern interviews, and process program intakes and exits.
* Establish and maintain files for each intern. Write case notes, monthly student evaluations, and other reports regularly.
* Supervise 1 full-time direct support professional and be an advocate for their growth and success. Provide training and meet with staff regularly address any issues and concerns and ensure that interns' needs and goals are being met.
* Collaborate with interns, employers, staff, and other partners to creatively address any issues affecting students' training and employment.
* Coach and support interns by teaching soft skills such as professional communication, behavior and grooming/hygiene, and hard skills specific to the internship duties.


* Bachelor's degree is required. Degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is preferred.
* 2+ years of experience working with individuals with disabilities is required.
* Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
* Must pass Live Scan DOJ fingerprint background check, TB screening and basic health screening.
* Must have a valid driver's license with at least 5 years driving history, a clean driving record, and use of a vehicle with current registration and insurance.
* Strong communication and public relations skills.
* Strong computer skills, including MS Office, email, and Internet.

Compensation and Benefit Package: $18.00 per hour.
