Job Description

The Brigham Digital Innovation Hub, or iHub as we fondly call it (and for it to fit on a business card), is an initiative within Brigham and Women's Hospital focused on creating and supporting a culture of digital innovation at the hospital, accelerating internal ideas, and solving hospital challenges with novel digital tools. We are infatuated with discovering digital solutions to solve our industry's biggest challenges and are passionate about how digital innovation can transform care delivery.

We're on a mission to find the newest member of our awesomely innovative team: a warm and hyper-organized Jack (or Jane)-of-all-trades to join us as our Operations Analyst. This position, as both the physical and virtual face of iHub, requires a unique personality: insane organizational skills balanced perfectly with level-headed professionalism. If you're the standout candidate, you know who you are and don't apologize for it. You're obsessed with collaboration, entrepreneurship, snacks, and The Staples Store. Basically, you've never stopped loving displays of school supplies and your not-so-guilty-pleasure tv show is Tidying Up with Marie Kondo. An awesome party planner in a past life, you are now driven by an intense curiosity for digital health and innovation.

iHub is fueled by support and partnership. Everyone on our team cares deeply about working on behalf of our network of clinicians, administrators, researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs to create a massive impact on patient care. As the Operations Analyst, you have the added responsibility of helping everyone on our team, a kind of "force multiplier" if you're into superhero names (don't worry, it's extremely cool with us if you are). You will be responsible for managing, tracking, and monitoring the iHub's core functions to ensure our operational success. Additionally, you'll have touch points with many departments to support and foster digital health initiatives at the Brigham - be prepared to wear a lot of hats!

We're a small team that gets a lot done through hard work and a healthy dose of fun to keep us all sane. We are proud of being so nimble that we dance circles around a traditional corporate setting, accomplishing twice the amount of work in half the time (and looking oh so good doing it). So, if you can move fast, staying light on your feet while retaining a strong self-driven streak, don't mind getting your hands dirty (literally), and can collaborate, you'll succeed here. We'll be the first to say this isn't your average health tech gig. We are a quirky bunch and it can get crazy sometimes but knowing that we're helping care for patients and shaping the future of digital health more than makes up for it. That and some awkward but well-meant fist bumps.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Oversee iHub Innovation Studio space, managing people-flow; interfacing with guests ranging from fellows, clinicians, and partners to investors and entrepreneurs; coordinating arrival logistics; and welcoming guests
* You have a bachelor's degree: You're a recent college graduate looking for a high value job relevant to your career ambitions
* You have the technical chops: competence with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology quickly
* Experience with project management: you can apply slick ninja skills to assist with multiple projects at once, and prioritize in the face of numerous opportunities without ever missing a beat
